Metals are used for industrial as well as for domestic purposes. After some years these metals will get classified as scrap metal. The good thing about metal is that the same can be recycled over and over without altering its properties. Some of the most common recyclable metals include aluminum, steel, brass, copper etc. Recovery from scrap metal or end-of-life products or structures can be introduced as a raw material in the production of new goods. The other metals like silver, gold and platinum etc. are present in components used in computers, mobile phones and other electronic devices. Even though the percentage of these precious metals are less in these devices, machineries are available to extract these precious metals from these components. By recycling metals, we preserve our natural resources, reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere, and can save a lot of money that could be spent on mining and processing of metals.

At Planet Green Recycling, we collect metal scrap from our clients (except building waste or construction waste) and transport it to our recycling facility. These metals will be sorted and segregated based on its nature and quality. The sorted metals will be forwarded to manufacturing facility where it gets processed and converted into new products.
